Fall = Fresh Start

Aaron Munoz

Often times, families find River Way Ranch Camp too late in the season when they begin their search to find the perfect experience for their child.

In many cases, the only session in which their child can come to camp (between sports practices and a family vacation) is already sold out.

The best way to avoid this situation is to plan summer early. The process of finding the right camp can take some research, but the reward is great. Discover what questions to ask: What’s your cancellation policy? What if I need to switch sessions? It’s important to know this information as you move forward in your summer camp planning process.

When your neighbors are stressing out about what their child will be doing next summer, you will be feeling confident with your child already enrolled!

With school in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about Summer 2020 – not only for parents, but for us too at camp!

As for our team, fall is the time to start planning.  This means getting ready for upcoming events that will be going on throughout the year. Next up for us is our annual Leadership Retreat. During this retreat our team gears up for the new season, and we hear from directors about what’s new in their “real lives”.

Needless to say, we return home energized, excited and ready for what Summer 2020 has in store for us.

We love what this season brings, and what it stands for. For camps, it’s a new beginning, a fresh start, and an opportunity to plan for summer. Cozy up, grab that pumpkin spice latte, and start mapping out your summer plans.
