The Hiring Process
Want to join the River Way Family this summer?
River Way’s selection process is one of the most exciting and memorable experiences for our applicants. We select the most diverse and qualified staff possible. If you are applying within the state of California, typically a video interview will be conducted followed by a one to two-day on-site group interview workshop.
On-Site Interview Workshops
Outside of California
River Way Ranch Camp partners with a selection of hiring agencies for hiring international staff. You may even see some of our representatives at a hiring fair near you. We will likely attend fairs in England and Australia. Ask your hiring agency representative about how to get involved in a hiring fair! Even if you have already applied through your agency, please apply on our website and create a 3-5 minute video that showcases who you are. Be as creative as you would like. The video should be sent to our email at Employment@RiverWayRanchCamp.com. You should hear from someone in our office within two weeks of submitting your video. A minimum of two virtual interviews between you and our directors is required, however, it could be up to four. - 18+ years old (one year of college or equivalent experience preferred)
- Experience working in childcare
- Love the outdoors
- Love working with children
- Responsible, positive and inclusive
- Must be able to work the entirety of the summer unless otherwise assigned
- Must be to meet all duties of on your standard job description
