The community and fun of River Way does not stop once the campers head back home! River Way campers, families, alumni and staff stay engaged, coming together for charity efforts and fundraising for several endeavors. Get involved today!
Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation Champ Camp
Champ Camp is free to all burn survivors, and it is fully staffed by medical doctors, nurses, program staff, volunteers and counselors-many of whom are also burn unit nurses, burn doctors, adult burn survivors, and firefighters. Campers enjoy a week of fun camp activities, helping campers to just have fun and be kids away from medical procedures and financial hardships. Camp provides a safe environment where survivors can play, learn, grow, gain self-esteem and make new friends.

River Way Ranch Camp “Campership” Scholarship Fund
The camp experience has the unique ability to break down economic, racial, geographic, ethnic, and social diversity. Camp is a community that celebrates diversity and promotes understanding and open-mindedness. Each year, roughly 5% of our campers come to River Way Ranch Camp at low or no cost through the generosity of our camp families and alumni, along with our “scholarship match” program. It is our dream to have this number increase to 20% by 2025, allowing us to further our equity and inclusion efforts. A camp experience can change a child’s life, and all donations are completely tax-deductible through the American Camp Association nonprofit fund. To make a donation to our campership fund, reach out to us today!
