Scotia is currently studying abroad in the South of Sweden and a couple of weeks back had the opportunity to visit the Arctic North. With 30 other exchange students from France, Germany, The Netherlands, Russia, Italy, and Australia she journeyed North on a 27 hour bus trip! They stayed in a small town with a population of only 120. They had many different adventures from a snowshoe hike, a day trip to Norway, a nighttime sauna with arctic swimming, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, a visit to the ice hotel, and to the worlds largest iron mine! The most memorable moment of the trip was seeing the Northern Lights, which they were lucky enough to see almost every night of the trip!
