A camper waterskiing

Premier Waterski/Wakeboard Camp

Designed for campers ages 10 years and older who prefer to spend most of their time at the lake, River Way’s premier Waterski/Wakeboard Camp offers plenty of instruction each week.

Your camper’s waterfront school has a ratio of one staff member for every three campers, ensuring success in learning new skills and riding styles. Spend a summer acquiring new confidence and feelings of accomplishment on the water.

Instructors & Facilities

Instructed by some of the most qualified instructors in the nation using competition-level Ski Nautique boats, the water sports programs are operated on Pine Flat Lake using River Way’s 55-foot, two-story houseboat known as Lombardo. It comes equipped with two water slides, top jumping planks from the 25-foot high houseboat, a large professional barbeque, and an ADA-sanctioned bathroom.

Program Details

This program is designed for all skill levels: beginner, intermediate, or experienced riders. Beginners are encouraged to learn the basics of waterskiing, wakeboarding and/or kneeboarding at their own pace. They are taught on a ski boom and most experience success on their first visit to the lake.

Our more advanced campers learn wake-to-wake jumps and aerial tricks as well as the elements of body position, board control, edging, jumping and spinning. In addition, they have the opportunity to advance their free-riding skills wakeskating or wake surfing. In addition to morning lake time several days a week, campers will get to select from our free-choice activity offerings to reflect a varied and exciting schedule, allowing them to sign up for activities with friends who may not be in the waterski/wakeboard specialty program.

River Way is a member of the National Waterski Association, and we are proud to offer campers the experience of a lifetime at one of the best waterski/wakeboard camps in the nation.
