The goal River Way Ranch Camp’s CIT Program has always been to offer World Class Leadership Programming to meet the demands of today’s world. For the past 5 years, CIT’s and their parents have provided valuable feedback that led us to create the Apprentice Program (AP) in 2009.
It has been recently noted in evaluations from campers and parents that the CIT program is a big step up from being a senior camper. We believe a stronger foundation is needed in order for senior campers to make a smoother transition into the CIT Program. The new structure of the programs is designed to help ease that transition.
This summer, and the summer of 2013 we are changing some of the requirements for the CIT and AP programs to enable campers to get more out of them. Below you will find a summary of the changes for 2012 and 2013. Be sure to check out CIT and AP webpage for full details and how to enroll in the programs.
AP Program – 14 years old or completed 8th grade as of June 2012
CIT Program – 15 years old or completed 9th grade as of June 2012
*You must participate in the AP Program in 2012 in order to be considered for the 2013 CIT Program*
