Read our most frequently asked questions for our Priority Registration discount period, the best discount of the year!

When does Priority Registration open?

Priority registration will open for families Monday, September 30th, at 8:00 AM PST, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Why should I do the Pay-in-Full Priority Registration discount, and how do I enroll?

This is the largest savings opportunity of the year and will be the only discount available for Session 3, one of our quickest sessions to fill. In order to register, visit the “Enroll Now” link on our website and use your CampInTouch login to sign your camper up. Don’t have a CampInTouch login? It only takes minutes to create one! For our returning families, your camper’s information auto-fills from last summer, so it’s quick and easy. The discount will be applied on the final discount page, and tuition payment in full will be taken. Our team will send a confirmation email when this process is complete.

Is this a returning family discount only?

Although our returning families do receive the earliest notice for this discount, we are allowing the discount to be extended to all families, new and returning, who enroll from now until October 21st and pay tuition in full. Tell your friends and family!

What if our summer plans change?

We get it; it’s difficult to know what plans are for next month, let alone next summer! That is why we offer quite a bit of flexibility with this discount. The best part? All monies paid are fully refundable through February 1st, 2025, so you have plenty of time to figure out schedules. After February 1st until March 15th, 2025, families may cancel and receive a refund, less a $750 nonrefundable, non-transferable deposit per canceled session. We recommend securing your child’s space in the session you think will work best or may waitlist first, and switch if needed. If you need to switch your child’s session, you can do so by calling or emailing our office at any time. As long as you lock in the discount, it can transfer over to any other session (provided space in the new session is still available). We always recommend reserving the session that you think you will want your camper to attend, or the session that is likely to fill first.

My family is unable to pay in full at this time, but we would still like to reserve a space to avoid being on the wait list. Can we do this?

Absolutely! While the Priority Registration discount is a pay-in-full by October 21st discount,
you may choose to reserve your child’s space now with a $750 deposit (per camper, per session) and opt-out of the Priority Registration discount. We offer flexible payment plans, with payment in full not due until May 5, 2025. In order to enroll with a deposit only, families must speak with a member of the camp office team (either phone call or confirmed email) prior to submitting their camper application; the default option for the camper application system is for the Pay-in-Full discount registration, so all applications submitted from September 30- October 21 will be treated as Priority Reg (pay-in-full discount) unless we are told otherwise by the enrolling family member.

Am I completely paid in full once my Priority Registration is complete?

To secure the priority registration discount, only tuition payment is required in full. Optional additional charges such as round trip bus transportation ($330 round trip from Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Francisco), camp store account credit (recommended $165 for two weeks, or $115 for one week), and yearbook ($65) are not included. These will be automatically added to your invoice, which is due May 5, 2025. You may adjust any of these items by contacting our camp office team.

What if my family needs to cancel after March 15th?

 

Camp Tuition Insurance

We recommend families purchase camp tuition insurance to help cover camp fees in the event you want or need to cancel due to scheduling conflicts, illness etc. An option for tuition insurance is available for purchase via this link: https://programprotector.mhross.com/index.php/consumer/portal/RIVE6450CA.

Please note: Some insurance plans have time-sensitive requirements that could benefit you, like waiving pre-existing condition exclusions and including a Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) option. It is advised to secure insurance soon after registering to make the most of these features.
