Each year we hire many international staff members. Due to U.S. regulations you are required to have a valid work visa, which you can acquire through international placement agencies. River Way encourages you to evaluate each international placement agency available. We recommend selecting from one of the following; Camp Counselors USA (CCUSA)(www.CCUSA.com), or Camp Leaders (www.CampLeaders.com). These agencies help us determine who will make amazing staff members as they have specialists who know the type of personality and character that meets River Way’s expectations. These agencies do collect a referral fee for their services so please take time to select one that best fits you.

However, if you would like to apply with us directly to avoid paying a referral fee, we encourage you to apply online and submit a video. Without a video submission it will be very difficult to be selected for an interview. River Way does not guarantee placement when applying directly so if you are looking for a summer camp placement, please select from one of the aforementioned placement agencies and they will do their best to place you.

For 2012 we will be attending fairs hosted by CCUSA in the Australia in February. We will be in Brisbane on February 1st and Melbourne on February 4th and Sydney on February 5th. If you are unable to make these fairs and would like to arrange a separate meeting, please email the below address and we will try to set something up. We will not be attending fairs in any other countries in 2012.

We do hire staff from other countries in which we do not attend fairs. Again we encourage you to submit a video to strengthen your application. A Skype interview will be set up and if we have a staff member from the country you are applying a personal meeting with them would also be arranged.
