CONDITIONS FOR ENROLLMENT - Please Read (if you wish to download the complete Parent Orientation packet, click HERE)
1. The Camper, his/her parents and relatives agree to abide by the rules and regulations set by the Camp for health, safety and welfare of the campers. All camper forms are due June 1, 2008 regardless of the session the child/children are enrolled. If enrolling after June 1, all form are due two-weeks prior to the session your child is enrolled.
2. Due to the fact that all camping programs are planned prior to the opening of camp, including purchasing Camper supplies, equipment and hiring of personnel based on confirmed Camper Reservations, no allowance, refunds or rebates can or will be made if cancellation occurs after May 15.
3. The Camp reserves the right to dismiss a Camper, whose conduct or influence is unsatisfactory or is, in the opinion of the Camp, not in the best interest of the Camp. In that event, there shall be no refund of any part of the Camp fee.
4. The Camp is not responsible for articles of clothing or personal belongings lost or damaged by fire, theft, laundry, etc.
5. Should both parents leave their place of residence for an extended period of time during the Camp session, the Camp Director must be notified where they can be contacted, in case of an emergency.
6. In case of medical or surgical emergency, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by the Camp Director to hospitalize and secure proper treatment for the Camper listed. All such expenses will be the responsibility of, and shall be paid for by, the parents.
7. A health certificate filled out by a physician must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the Camper’s arrival at Camp.
8. The undersigned consents to the use of any pictures of this child to be used for advertising or promotion.
9. I understand and acknowledge that certain activities as listed in your camp brochure (such as horseback riding, waterskiing, sports, etc.) have an increased risk of injury. I further acknowledge and state that I assume full responsibility for my child’s safety and well being while he/she is participating in such activities. I hereby agree to release and indemnify Western Camps, Inc., River Way Ranch Camp and all their officers, employees, agents and representatives whatsoever from any claim, cost, expense (including attorney fees) and/or damages which any of them may sustain or incur arising out of my child’s participation in such activities.
10. If a child changes enrollment to a more expensive camp, the discount becomes void and must be paid in addition to the balance due for the specialty camp.
11. Phone calls are not allowed to or from campers. Parents are welcome to call the Camp Mom. Please, do not send cell phones. They will be collected and held at the camp office until the end of the camper’s stay. The camp will not take any responsibility for lost cell phones. I-Pods are permitted: I-Phones are not.
12. Food items are not to be sent to camp, except for medical purposes.
13. We reserve the right to refuse service for just cause.
