Our staff is hired from all over the United States, Europe, Australia, Asia etc.. Staff is diverse like our campers and they add a unique cultural experience to camp life. Counselors are selected based on the ability to serve as outstanding role models, mentors and leaders.

For 45 years, River Way has provided its campers with an experience like none other. A quality camp program where our staff treat campers as if they were their own - this connections is why River Way staff are some of the finest individuals in the world.

Our goal is that every member of the River Way family, staff and campers alike, leave camp having built new and lasting friendships, learned new skills, enjoyed the value of each other's stories and camp traditions, but most importantly, created memories to last a lifetime.

Applicants may choose the option to strengthen their application by submitting a video (no more than 3 minutes). All applicants outside of California are encouraged to do so.
